The reason why

Creating a swimming costume may seem easy. Shorts that go in the water. However, when you dig a little deeper, it turns out that the subject is not so basic. A good swimming costume is a technical piece of clothing that can be worn in both salt and chlorinated water, without ever wrinkling. It is comfortable and adapts to your every move. After several months of development, we have created a rare gem. Here is our reinterpretation of the swimming costume. For this summer and the next 10.

A cup worthy of the name

When we were working on our swimming costume, our first obsession? The cut.Neither tight nor baggy, our straight cut suits all body types. It's very comfortable and leaves plenty of room on the thighs for jumping, running, climbing, stretching, diving, swimming and drinking. Whatever you like to do in summer!

Dry in less than 30 minutes

A swim short that doesn't dry is horrifying. At Atelier Particulier, we like to say that good know-how is designed to simplify your daily life. So, for our swimming costume, we found a top quality technical material: Supplex® fabric. Invented in the USA in 1985 for outdoor activities, Supplex® fabric is hydrophobic. With it, your swim short will be dry in less than 30 minutes. That's twice as fast as a classic water-repellent cotton.

Beautiful but also very comfortable

Making a good swimming costume is not easy. There are not many swimming costumes that retain their beauty and effectiveness after a summer. Ours does! To achieve this, we relied on the know-how of the Spanish craftsman who has been a reference in the swimwear industry since 1978. With him, we selected finishes that are as beautiful as they are practical: reinforced elasticated waistband, very fine, scratch-free mesh, drawstring with metal tip, piped pocket, solid French buttons made of recycled material. It's all there. Add to that a fabric as soft as cotton but 10 times stronger. And you get the swimming costume of your holidays.

It will not move!

Today, we prove to you that technique also rhymes with know-how. To ensure that your swimming costume is a long-lasting ally, we put it through a whole battery of tests: resistance to chlorine, sea salt, washing, rubbing and UVs, we did it all. The result is that from a resistance and durability point of view, it's going to be difficult to do better!

Almería, the swimming suit capital

We found our workshop in a city that has summer textile know-how under its skin, Almería. Founded in 1978, this factory has about twenty craftsmen. Their success, our family workshop has built it on 3 very simple pillars: (1) They only make men's swimwear. And this has been going on for 43 years, (2) Their seamstresses are among the finest in the industry, (3) They have established solid partnerships to have access to the best technical fabrics in the world.
