The reason why

Atelier Particulier accompanies you, even on holidays! To protect your passport for many years, Atelier Particulier offers you a piece of leather goods made in the rules of the art: French know-how, full grain leather from Tanneries Du Puy (the Rolls of leather), nice contrasting lining, also in leather. When chic meets sustainability.

France in a boxcalf leather

When selecting our leather, we straight went to the Tanneries du Puy, notably renowned for its high-end 100% French boxcalf. Especially treated to be highly resistant to heavy use and sunlight. Its particuliar Palmellato grain reflects light like no other. Luxury in every detail.

The highest standards

Instead of common synthetic lining, we chose an Italian Nappa leather lining for aesthetic & durabilty reasons. Then, the edges are stained and filleted several times, by hand ; this longlasting thorough step highlights and strenghten the edges. At last, the stitching is completely handmade, for better longevity.

Made in Normandy

Our workshop is located in Normandy, not far from Rouen. This region is famous for leather work. Normandy is indeed one of the most important breeding areas of France. And breeding means "leather craft". Because all the skins used for leather goods come from the agricultural industry. The leather industry is therefore a recycling business!
