The reason why
This belt is a more casual option than our classic leather belt, because of its grained leather and ecru topstitchings. The perfect week-end belt.
Made in Normandy
It was in the heart of Normandy (one of the French cradles of leather) that we found the workshop able to make the belt we dreamed of. There, we pushed the doors of a workshop whose tradition goes back to 3 generations. All the stages of confection are still carried out by hand. Pledge of its know-how: among its customers, our workshop has a well-known monogrammed luxury brand.
A specialist of leather goods since 1970
Our workshop specializes in leather goods, and the belt in particular. Thanks to him, we were able to push the finishes to the maximum. For example, our belt has a triple thickness (= presence of a leather blade in the center, for more solidity and a "domed" appearance) and a double-pass mounting. This assembly, which is not found everywhere, is both aesthetic and practical: the belt is better maintained.
Advanced finishes
For 5 years, this belt has been a flagship piece of our collection. You have been waiting for his return for 6 months ... so we took the opportunity to further improve what could be! On the program for this new version: 4 dye passages on the edges (= like luxury brands) and a brass buckle made in Italy. The latter will last even longer!
The best leather
The belt is an essential part of the wardrobe. It is imperative that it last over time.
We have therefore selected full-grain cowhide leather, which will gradually become more patinated.
The lining is not to be outdone: in nubuck (with vegetable tanning), it comes from a specialized Belgian tannery belonging to Louis Vuitton. The lining is often overlooked and yet so important: it is the one that undergoes the most stresses over time (torsion, humidity, etc.).
